REGISTRATION AND VERMONT PURE:
As a reminder, registration will be held at Trapp Family Lodge on 8/14/09 from 6-8PM. Teams may also register the morning of the event. We ask that teams arrive 30 minutes prior to the published start times in order to complete registration. Be sure to have all of your safety gear at registration or you will not be permitted to start the race. Please read through the handbook and official race rules on the planning tab of the website. Due to small transition areas we will be enforcing the (1) vehicle per team rule.
Vermont Pure continues to go above and beyond and we are proud to be supplying each team with a full case of water compliments of Vermont Pure. The final step to your registration process will be to grab a case of H2O on the way out.
EVENING BEFORE EXPO:
We are very excited to introduce our first ever Pre-Race Mini-Expo at pre-registration. Fleet Feet Sports, Fuel Belt, Merrell Running Shoes and possibly Poulin Performance will be on hand to offer advice and to sell their gear. What a great opportunity to speak directly to the experts.

Hunger Mountain Christian Assembly will be hosting a bake sale at their transition, Crossett Brook Middle School has give away prizes in store including some Darn Tough socks as rewards for people “Caught” following the rules and making the event great. The Bowl Mill transition hosts Matt Mullen and his restaurant on wheels where he’ll have hot dogs, burgers, veggie burgers and shaved ice for sale. As a bonus, he’s going to head further down the course for that late afternoon snack as well. The folks from Function will be along the course providing samples of their unique line of energy drinks.
MCKENZIE COUNTRY CLASSICS POST RACE PARTY:
We are thrilled to have McKenzie Country Classics serving as our official post-race party sponsor. We’ve teamed them up with Harpoon Brewery for an unbeatable combination. Harpoon Beer will be on sale for $2 per beer. As a reminder, we need to honor the Okemo liquor license and not bring alcohol into the post race event. Pepsi has also stepped up to the plate and is providing ice tea, lemonade and other beverages included with your meal.
MERCHANDISE/RAFFLE:
We have a great selection of merchandise available for sale. We will be accepting cash, check and credit cards during the race. We will also be selling 50/50 raffle tickets, which is a great way to go home with some cash. We will be drawing the 50/50 winning live at the finish line awards ceremony.
